    Lovely, natural retinol option

    This retinol cream has not dried my skin and I am not exaggerating when I say I notice an immediate glow after applying this and using in tandem with Rose, Gold and Attar. I use this product 5x a week and alternate with XX. I am very happy with all of the Monastery products I tried- its truly the first natural line that has blown me away with results with all of its products.

    Dreamy!

    I love this retinol cream. I find that natural creams always have propanediol in them and I really appreciate that Monastery formulates without it… I don’t think anything compares to Athena’s formulations. I really like using this, then flora and attar mixed together on top.

    Didn't work for me

    I wanted to love it but I've used the whole bottle and don't see any difference. My skin is sensitive and I don't use acids or exfoliants often, so I definitely expected this to make an impact. I received a facial at the Monastery HQ in San Francisco and really enjoyed the products they used, so maybe I'll give the glycolic acid or a different exfoliant of theirs a try.
