We’ve teamed up with two pioneers in the American baking movement, Chad Robertson and Laurie Ellen, to offer you the most delicious shortbread cookies, ever. Chad Robertson, of Tartine Bakery in San Francisco, is well regarded as one of the best bread bakers in the country and his longtime pastry chef, Laurie Ellen, puts her discerning and elegant spin on classic desserts, prioritizing nuanced flavor combinations over obvious sweetness. Our collaboration cookie tin includes two of Laurie’s crisp and buttery shortbreads: a nutty Seeded Toasted Oatmeal shortbread topped with a light dusting of sugar that leans more classic and a fragrant and earthy Matcha shortbread that highlights our CAP matcha and is more nuanced and sophisticated in flavor. Made using only the finest quality, thoughtfully sourced ingredients, including a pinch of our CAP pink mountain salt and our ceremonial grade, organic matcha these shortbreads are excellent accompanied by a cup of matcha, espresso or tea as a mid afternoon pick-me-up. Seeded Oatmeal Shortbread: Butter, Oat Flour, Rice Flour, Powdered Sugar (Cane Sugar, Cornstarch), Oats, Pumpkin Seeds, Eggs, Millet, Poppy Seeds, Sesame Seeds, CAP Himalayan Pink Salt, Vanilla Extract, Baking Powder.

Matcha Shortbread: Butter, Oat Flour, Rice Flour, Powdered Sugar (Cane Sugar, Cornstarch), Eggs, Coconut Milk, Coconut Milk Powder, CAP Matcha, Jasmine Green Tea, CAP Himalayan Pink Salt, Baking Powder.

Products do not contain wheat or gluten but are made in a facility where gluten and other allergens are present. Best enjoyed within 6 weeks from opening.

    Seeded Oatmeal Shortbread & Matcha Shortbread

    It may seem like a small investment for this tiny tin of cookies, but the flavor, quality and craftsmanship of these shortbread delicacies are worth it's price tag. Pure flavors of the ingredients blossom as you chew, and the texture is the perfect balance of delicate and tender. Both the matcha and seeded oatmeal are outstanding. I gifted some to my friends and colleagues who are cookie connoisseurs and they thought they were exquisite as well and equally impressed. I now know where to go for extra special, thoughtful gifts.     This shortbread was sooooooo good. We shared it with a friend who stopped by and everyone loved it. I enjoyed both of them a lot, especially the seeded one. But the matcha one was great too. Yum - thank you!
