Pastoral was created to share the experience of being in the countryside. Made to capture the scent of a pastoral field with horses roaming, it's an intoxicating and nuanced experience that marries the ethereal with the earth. It is a smell that evokes high summer; that feeling of being far away, while also close to home allowing you to live in two places at once.

Our absolutes are sourced from all over the world, offering a discerning scent profile that conjures up the beauty of nature.

Our Hay absolute comes from Les Landes in the southwest region of France where farmers dedicate acres to growing Flouve, whose scent explodes when they cut their fields, revealing a sweet and intoxicating sensorial experience conjuring up the magic of horses and the countryside.

Our Labdanum hails from Spain and reveals notes of honey, beeswax and amber, a perfect companion to the ethereal and sweet notes of Hay. Its resin is a rich and intoxicating nectar-like scent that evokes the fleeting days of summer.

The addition of Vetiver grounds Pastoral, acting as a counterpoint to the ethereal and heady notes of Labdanum and Hay. Our Vetiver descends from a region in Madagascar known for its smoky, yet smooth, profile. It is woody and earthy with a dampness woven in that evokes water droplets on hay post afternoon storm showers.
