Hojicha, meaning “roasted tea” in Japanese, is a traditional tea made from late-harvest, roasted green tea leaves. Our organic Hojicha, from Kagoshima and Shizuoka, Japan, is the finely ground powder of upcycled roasted sencha leaves, offering notes of toasted nuts, caramel and malt. Favorite Family Beverage
The Hojicha was such a hit in my home and it will now become a staple. My teenage daughter loves it as an iced latte and I prefer mine as a hot latte. It goes perfect with Elmhurst Unsweetened cashew milk accompanied by monk fruit for sweetener. Healthy & delicious!!!

Drinking it right now!
First let me say I added a little too much powder to the hot water so it was really strong but I still loved that roasted flavor and the fact it doesn't have too much caffeine. I've been drinking tea after weaning myself off of coffee daily and it's made a huge difference in my day to day. This Hojicha green tea is so perfect for mid-day. I'm glad I read the reviews. I will be ordering more and using much less than I did on my first try :-)
