The first step in our CAP Beauty skincare routine, blue, is a gentle yet highly effective cream cleanser that removes dirt and impurities while safeguarding hydration and barrier function. Formulated especially for dry, sensitive and reactive skin types, as it excludes any irritants, essential oils or fragrances, blue draws on potent yet gentle botanicals and adaptogens to soothe and repair, encouraging a clear, calm and moisturized complexion. Marula oil naturally protects against sun damage and prevents moisture loss. Reishi, a well regarded adaptogen, fortifies and nourishes our outermost layer. Lactobacillus ferment protects our skin’s precious microbiome and schisandra, an adaptogen traditionally used in Chinese medicine, diminishes signs of aging and improves overall brightness and vitality. Instructions

Dispense two to three pumps in your hands and apply to wet or dry skin and massage in circular motions. Rinse. Follow with serotoner and your oil or moisturizer of choice

Delightful
I have been oil cleansing for years but this is perfect on its own or for a nice double cleanse on top of my rose oil cleanser. My skin feels silky after I use it, not stripped, and the smell is gentle and calming.

Good Product but scent off putting
I just finished my bottle of Blue Soothing Cleanser. I am a huge fan and user of the Monastery product. I was looking for a gentle cleanser, and upon a review by the founder of Monastery, I decided to give it a try. I found the smell very, very off-putting. I contacted Cap, and they kindly said they would exchange it, but they let me know the product has a strong smell. I decided to carry on using the product. I did get somewhat used to the scent, but not enough to continue using it. It was very calming to the skin.
