Not sure I completely understand all the hype around May Lindstrom. I've tried 3 of her products: The Blue Cacoon (overwhelming scent/no results), The Jasmine Garden (meh) and now The Honey Mud. Strike 3...now I'm out. This "mud" while it seems wonderful is not the "pudding" as it's described.. It feels pudding-y when you put your fingers in the jar but what you scoop out devolves into a runny mess. I used it several times and saw no noticeable difference in the redness & dryness of my skin. Pretty expensive "treat" for these kind of results. I think the wonder ingredients are the honey (I didn't detect much in it) and the colloidal silver. But I say find a face wash with this ingredient (much less expensive!) and go with that. Needless to say, I returned the product. Sorry May, looks like we're just not a fit for each other.
Being someone with hyperreactive, sensitive skin, I was nervous to try out something new. I've heard many rave reviews and after doing research in May Lindstrom's line, discovering that she too struggles with skin sensitivity, I figured I would try it out. And I'm so glad I did! The Honey Mud is a 2-in-1, so you can use it as both a cleanser and a mask. Both uses are heavenly. The smell alone is beautiful but, the way your skin feels afterwards is, dare I say it, the bee's knees! A definite must-have in my cabinet, and a true essential for these colder months ahead.
Excellant for skin detoxing/removal of make-up. Very gentle and effective.
This is hands-down the best mask I’ve ever tried. My favorite makeup artist featured it on her Instagram and I took a chance and purchased it. I’ve tried everything from clay masks to sheet masks to chemical peels/masks and this is the only one I’ve ever tried that gives me immediate and noticeable results. I love it so much, I use it 2-3 times per week and look forward to it every time. It has natural ingredients that really clear, brighten, and calm my acne-prone skin. I’ll honestly never waste money on any other mask- this is a keeper.
