I purchased an e-gift card for a friend as a Christmas present for a 1 hr facial. Because all the hard copy gift cards were sold out at that amount (not sure how that was possible) I had to do an electronic version. Unfortunately it was difficult to transfer as an actual gift. It came addressed to me with the amount, which I would have liked to be more of a secret. The user experience could have been better, as the only choice for delivery to another person was to forward the email.
The experience wasn't very special.
