The first time I used this I was surprised by the taste. It was rather bitter (it doesn’t have all the crap your average drugstore toothpaste has) but after using it few times I was completely used to it and now I love it! And it doesn’t hurt that the packaging is so cute!

Hello!
First off, I absolutely love your store and brand. I live in NYC and consider CAP Beauty an oasis.
I was disappointed to learn after purchasing at CAP and other stores previously that this toothpaste contains carageenan. Admittedly, the safety of use of carageenan as a toothpaste and food additive is controversial; however, I was disturbed to find many articles when I researched online suggesting that it can be toxic / considered a carcinogen and cause digestive inflammation. I understand there may be no real scientific evidence of this at this time, but it does appear there has been extensive discussion, so I thought I would bring this to your attention.
