Cindy’s Winter Picks

December is knocking and the high vibe hustle of the holidays is on. And I’ll admit, this time of year I’m supernaturally drawn to all that glitters. Shimmery eyes, Matcha pots dripped in gold, gold-flecked mists for golden locks. I really can’t help it. And when I’m not looking for shine, I’m seeking out ways to save time, ways to deeply nourish my dry winter skin and ways to stay healthy and strong. How else would I have time for all the flash? Here’s what I’m loving right now.

RMS Makeup Remover Wipes: For those nights you want to hit the pillow before hitting the bathroom sink, these coconut oil wipes are a godsend. They moisturize as they wipe away makeup and leave skin soft and glowy. Plus, they’re individually wrapped and perfect for travel.

Makeup Brushes: I’m treating myself this year to a new set of brushes and the multipurpose foundation brush from Kjaer Weis is at the top of my list. It’s not too big and so it’s perfect not only for applying buildable natural foundations, but it’s also ideal for concealing blemishes and under eye circles and it’s great for touchups. W3LL PEOPLE’s Kabuki Brush and the retractable lip brush from Kjaer Weis are two other musts.

Captain Blankenship Golden Waves Sea Salt Shimmer Spray: This spray adds volume and a hit of shine thanks to the addition of Gold Mica. It’s a summertime staple but equally good for a night on the town.

Hannes Dottir Mineral Mist: The unsung hero of hydration, a good toner is worth its weight in gold. From the crystalline waters of Iceland, this one contains Silica to improve elasticity and boost collagen production and Iodine for increased cellular turnover. Mist it on to mineralize and hydrate all winter long.

RMS Eye Polish: When it comes to lustrous metallics and foolproof smoky eyes, no one outdoes Rose-Marie Swift. Her eye shadows are the stuff of legend, so rich in metallic pigment and so easy to use. Go easy for a subtle polished look or lay it on thick for disco style drama.

Romy Northover Matcha Pot: Romy is among our favorite artists and so we asked her to design a vessel that would proudly hold our beloved Matcha. These pots are dripped and lined in 24K gold and make equally perfect homes for salt, herbs, trinkets and even jewelry. Elevate teatime.
